Petrie Gardens nursing home visits
The students of Tiaro State School have a social interation with the residents of the local nursing home, Petrie Gardens.
Regular visits are made to Petrie Gardens where the students associate with the residents to read books, play games and puzzles.
Playgroup
The Churches of Christ hold a weekly playgroup session at Tiaro State School. Friends and families with pre-school age children are encouraged to attend. The mornings are filled with fun and excitment including fine and gross motor activities. Playgroup is held every Tuesday (excluding school holidays) from 9.15 - 11.15am.
